 The MSNP11 problem appears to be fixed on the server side.
1.9.3 and 2.0 beta 1 are upcoming, 2.0 with a long list of user friendliness related changes.

 There is problem with the add contact dialog appearing on signin. I'm working on a fix. A workaround is switching msn protocol to MSNP13.
You can do this in the signin panel (where you type your email+password).

 MSNP13 works on 1.9.2 but there is a problem with sending offline messages. This is fixed in an upcoming 1.9.3 release.
